Hamas Numbers
The US Congress says Hamas had between 25,000 and 20,000 members on October 7th, 2023 when the Gaza war began.
The Council of Foreign Relations says there were about 9,000 to 12,000 Hamas members left in June, 2024.
Six months later the IDF said in January, 2025 it has killed about 20,000 Hamas members and other militants.
The Guardian says 53,000 Palestinians have been killed in the war.
Wikipedia says there are about 5 million (5,350,000) Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank and 14.3 million worldwide.
This means that
