Japanese can maker says it invented a utensil that let's you microwave metal cans which means we can microwave vegan tuna without spending 20 minutes hungrily trying to remove it all from the can.
Sora News 24 says:
'But now, we have can-maker Daiwa Can out of Tokyo, whose latest product, called the Range de Can, claims to let us microwave metal cans with impunity. It’s quite simply just a plastic cap, or rather an anti-cap, as it goes on the bottom of the can rather than the top.'
Lotsa cold turkey tomato addicts might start shivering from US tomato products prices skyrocketing today as our dealers in Mexico cut our supply of the addictive products due to tariff increases.
CNN says
'On July 14, a nearly three-decade-old US-Mexico trade agreement may give way to 20.9% tariffs on most Mexican tomato imports. That could mean higher prices for Americans at the grocery store, at the pizza parlor — anywhere that uses tomatoes. And for some small businesses, higher prices could close them down entirely.'
Artificial Intelligence drives 38% decline in UK jobs but what do the older AI do when their jobs are replaced ?
NDTV World says:
'Job vacancies have declined across the board in the UK as employers cut costs in the face of sluggish growth and high borrowing rates, with the overall number of online job postings down 31% in the three months to May compared with the same period in 2022, a McKinsey & Co. analysis found.'
Art collector who started a successful venue is closing his art gallery due to a lack of comraderie among dealers but still not having enough drama for a reality TV show.
Artforum says:
'Venus Over Manhattan, the New York gallery founded by collector Adam Lindemann in 2012, will shut its doors later in July. Lindemann announced the closure in an opinion piece for Artnet News, writing that he planned to focus exclusively on collecting, exiting the sell side altogether. Among the factors driving his decision, he said, were the tribulations associated with the art-fair circuit and the lack of camaraderie in the gallery world. “Opening a gallery as a collector really does succeed in alienating both sides,” he wrote. “Dealers distrust you, and most collectors don’t get what you’re up to, so they turn up their noses in disapproval—or even worse, they resent you for switching sides.”'

Loma Linda finds veggie diet cuts cancer, saving your heath insurer billions in denial of coverage legal fees.
Loma Linda says:
A longitudinal study of various vegetarian diets shows a 12% overall reduced risk of all cancers and strong support for the finding in less-studied, medium-frequency cancers, such as stomach and lymphomas.'
